In 2018, the CCLRP was established as a company limited by guarantee.
The Board of Directors comprises:
|Noeline Blackwell, (Chair) CEO, Dublin Rape Crisis Centre and former Director General of Free Legal AdviceCentres (FLAC)|
|Judge Catherine McGuinness, former Supreme Court judge and President of the Law Reform Commission. She is also a member of the Council of State;|
|Dr Geoffrey Shannon, a child law expert and the Government’s Special Rapporteur on Child Protection. He is Chair of the Adoption Authority of Ireland;|
|Dr Carol Coulter, Executive Director of the Project, attends meetings of the Board and acts as its Secretary. She is former Legal Affairs Editor of the Irish Times and ran the Pilot Project on Family Law Reporting for the Courts Service in 2006/2007.|
|Maria Corbett is a doctoral research in NUIG researching best practice internationally in child protection proceedings. Previously, she was Deputy Chief Executive of the Children’s Rights Alliance.|
A Steering Group oversees the research of the CCLRP. Its members are:
- Dr Helen Buckley, fellow emeritus of the School of Social Work and Social Policy, Trinity College Dublin (Chair);
- Dr Carol Coulter, Executive Director, Child Care Law Reporting Project (CCLRP);
- Dr Connie Healy, Lecturer above the Bar, School of Law, National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG);
- Albert O’Donoghue, Principal Officer, Alternative Care Policy Unit, Department of Children and Youth Affairs (DCYA); and a Tusla nominee.
